Karl’s role
Karl plays Uncle Zack, a modern-day human who takes his nephew and niece to the remote site in Alaska where he is excavating dinosaur remains. While the three of them are in the excavation, they find a tooth from a Gorgosaurus and then a voiceover uses this discovery to led us to the story of Patchi (Justin Long), the main character of the movie, a Pachyrhinosaurus from the Cretaceous period.
